Module description:
The plugin extends the functionality of Shopware filters. Thanks to the plugin, many similar product attributes are combined under one attribute value, so that the search for this attribute value will return all products with the corresponding attributes. The plugin also makes it possible to use images instead of text as filter conditions, which is particularly helpful when selecting the color. It can be set whether the filtering should take place after each selection by the user or only after clicking on the „Search“button. It is also possible to change the placement of the filter panel.

Functional description
Make your products easier to find
If you have items that match more than one filter value of a type, for example a jacket is 3-colored (yellow, green, blue), you can have this jacket found with any matching attribute value of the color, regardless of whether the user searches for yellow, green or blue. The jackets in comparable colors can also be found, e.g.B. blue, dark blue and azure can easily be found with „blue“.
Automatic or manual filtering adjustable
You can also choose between manual and automatic filtering:

Manual filtering – first select all the conditions you want to filter for and then click on the „Search“button

Automatic filtering – takes place after each selection of the filter value, whereby the filter conditions that no longer match are automatically hidden
Adjustable placement of the filter panel
You can change the placement of the filter panel on the page. You have the option of placing it both to the left and above the search results.
Images can be used as filter values
Many users perceive graphic content faster than text. Thanks to this plugin, products can be filtered according to product attributes, which are displayed with the help of images or color tiles. This is particularly helpful for colors or materials.
Hiding the filters
SYou can completely hide an attribute with all associated values from the filter panel in order to draw the user's attention to other, more important filters. This allows you to leave only the important filters in the filter panel.
